The Sky is Magic

On a recent trip to the West of Ireland, I came across this little quiet bay with nobody around. It had just turned dusk and an amazing swirl of colour was swept across the sky. It was Magenta and blue, most unusual. I strolled along for about half an hour and in that time the sky had changed many times, but this colour combination stayed in my mind and it inspired this sunset oil painting.

I have used a brush and pallet knife to highlight the swirly sky. This is a canvas which is ready to hang and signed by me. Enjoy xx
