Red Sea Sunset

Every evening while in Saudi Arabia I have taken the short trip to the Red Sea to witness the beautiful sunset. Without fail each time I see it I am in awe. The vibrant sun high in the sky starts it's very quick descent into the horizon line within a space of 25 minutes, its feels rapid and awe inspiring witnessing the end of another lovely day. I never like to miss it when possible, it gives me an incredible sense if peace and calm. This painting is just one representation of that moment in the day.

I have used beautiful strong yellows, burnt oranges and dark blues to tell the story. The sand appears textured and rough. It is beautifully framed in a contemporary off white frame and is ready to hang. Enjoy x
