Forever and Always

"This beautiful painting was inspired by a farewell I had with a very dear friend of mine. She was emigrating to far away shores and I felt bereft. We both had a passion for the sea so it seemed apt that the subject for my painting should be the sea. The calmness of the sea and the swish of the sky represents her serene nature, the parting waves is us going on our own separate journeys. It is a very calming painting which will always represent abiding friendship to me. 

I have used beautiful tones of Cobalt blue, ceruleum blue, soft greys and white.  The blending of all these colours creates an air of calm and peace. The painting is beautifully framed with a wide white wooden frame and cream mount, it  is signed by me and ready to hang. Enjoy xx"
