Blue Aurora

Having visited iceland a few years ago, it  was hard not to be totally awestruck by the beautiful Northern lights.   When I got back home I started a series of paintings to try and capture the wonderful colours of viridian green, magenta and of course the amazing blues that dashed across the sky. The rich oil colours are blended together, I have also used a pallet knife to apply some texture and further movement. It was such a wonderful experience, I will never forget it. The painting is beautifully framed with a wide white wooden frame and cream mount, it  is signed by me and ready to hang. Enjoy xx
