A Day to Remember

This painting represents a beautiful day I spent with my grandchildren splashing along the water's edge on a beach in Wexford. The sun was shining and a wonderful blue light was cast across the sky, it was magical.

The sky is richly textured with paint as is parts of the beach giving a very tactile feel to the painting. Lovely tones of cobalt blue and greys are used to create a very soft easy on the eye composition.

This picture is beautifully framed with a thick white wooden frame and wide mount. It is signed and ready to hang. Enjoy xx
